The mission of McKinley High’s Freshman Academy is to ensure that each student obtains subject mastery and builds the confidence and character needed to achieve success in and out of the classroom. We encourage students to be respectful, responsible, and responsive by demonstrating first class citizenship at all times.

We encourage students to ask questions, seek help, and be prepared and eager to learn. Our focus is to cultivate intelligence, build character, and ensure success for all incoming ninth grade students.
